Children’s Ministry

Our ministry to children seeks to encourage and support parents as they raise their sons and daughters in the ‘fear and admonition of the Lord’ (Ephesians 6:4).

Since “sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him” (Ps. 127:3) the children’s ministry is one of important focus. Jesus himself cherished children and blessed them, saying, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Mt 19:14). We consider serving and praying for the next generation a considerable joy.

The parents of the church are primarily responsible, under God, to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. It is our role here at CFBC to support and encourage the ministry of the parents by faithfully teaching God’s Word and modeling genuine Christianity for the children in our care. It is our hope and prayer that, by God’s grace, throughout the years, all the children in our trust “will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor” (Isa 61:3).
