What to Expect

How should I dress?

CFBC is a church of variety. So you will fit in whether you are dressed casually or in a suit.

What about my children?

CFBC loves kids. It is our desire to provide a family friendly environment which allows for parents to worship with their children. We understand this means there will be times when the service is temporarily interrupted by the squeal of a child or the noise of rustling paper. However, the impact that comes from a child seeing their parent(s) worship Christ and learn God’s Word far outweighs any temporary discomfort. We provide child resource bags which help assist the parent in providing appropriate activity during the service. If you don’t see them in the foyer, simply ask an Usher for one and they will gladly be provided for you.

A nursery is provided for children birth to 3 years of age.

What happens on a Sunday morning?

Sunday mornings are a refreshing and enjoyable time. We begin with Sunday school classes for all ages at 9:00 am where we challenge one another to go deeper into God’s word. Our morning worship service begins at 10:15 am with a time of singing that blends choruses and hymns. That is followed by our pastor preaching an expository message that explains and practically applies a biblical text for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Our services typically last from an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half.

We do have a time of offering where members give to the ministries of the church; please know that we do not expect our guests to feel that they must give in this offering.

We take of the Lord’s Supper once a month, usually the first Sunday of each month, and we invite all believers to participate with us.
